SignalLock is how I follow AI news for people who make decisions and have little time for it.
Twice a week I post a question for leaders on LinkedIn and X. Once a month this site carries the board: where AI stood that month, topic by topic, with the facts behind it for anyone who wants them.
Where the news comes from
SignalLock reads AI newsletters. It also reads articles I save by hand.
A count on the board is a count of stories in these sources. It shows what the newsletters wrote about.
It does not show how big a topic is in the world.
How news becomes a topic
SignalLock turns each news item into a story: one real event, told once, even when several newsletters report it.
Each story goes into one topic.
Once a month I look at the stories that fit no topic.
When enough of them are about the same thing, a new topic starts.
A topic that goes quiet is retired.
How the facts are checked
A fact on a board is checked on its original page, not on the newsletter that reported it.
A number appears only when it matches that page.
When a company or a lab makes a claim about itself, the board says who makes it.
The story lists on the topic pages are different. They are the newsletters' own lines, each linked to its page. I do not check them one by one.
Who is behind it
SignalLock is the work of one person: Kenny Lamoot.
I put each board together with the help of AI, and I check every fact before it ships.
